Welcome to the course
You will eventually land in the bunker if you play golf long enough. The good news is that getting out of a sand hazard is not as complicated as expected.
The mechanics behind a good golf shot are not as complex as you may think. If you keep it simple, the outcome is normally better than when overthinking the technique and, more often than not, difficult to implement.
This course is designed to help you move from the basic bunker shot to the more complicated situations. I will offer advice and information along the way so you can apply this to improve all aspects of playing from the bunker.
We will be starting with the basic set-up and explanation of the swing. Understand the dos and don’ts of playing successful golf shots.
Next comes club selection. No rule says you have only to use a sand wedge in the greenside bunker.
If you dedicate time and energy to learning these shots, your bunker game will improve quickly.
